Të shtëna automatiku kundër KFOR-it
Ora 10:50 Gjatë trazirave të serbëve në veri të Mitrovicës eshte qelluar me automatik kunder misionit paqeruajtës ndërkombëtar në Kosovë, KFOR. Lajmi eshte pohuar per agjencine Reuters nga një zëdhënës francez i KFOR-it. Nuk janë dhënë detaje të tjera per ngjarjen. Reuters, duke u bazuar ne deklaratat e deshmitareve, raporton se gjate perleshjeve te forcave te KFOR dhe UNMIK me protestuesit serbe ka pasur te shtena armesh, por me pas policise I ehste dhene urdher te terhiqej.
Shperthim ne Mitrovice
Ora 9:40 Nje shperthim ka ndodhur ne qytetin verior te Kosoves, Mitrovice. Si pasoje e shperthimit kane mbetur te plagosur 3 police ukrainas te UNMIK dhe 2 ushtare franceze te KFOR-it. Lajmi behet i ditur nga agjencite serbe te lajmeve. (ANSA/Balkanweb)
Mitrovice, UNMIK merr kontrollin e gjykates. Tensionohet situata
Ora 8:35 - Tensionohet situata ne veri te Kosoves, ne Mitrovice, pas zbrazjes se gjykates se OKB te sulmuar javen e kaluar nga protestues serbe. Policia ka vene ne pranga rreth 20 persona. Pas berjes publik te lajmit, qindra protestues te tjere serbe u mblodhen para nderteses dhe filluan te qellonin me gure. Forcat e UNMIK nderhyne duke hedhur gaz lotesjelles, nderkohe qe gjykata eshte rrethuar nga mjete te blinduara per mbrojtjen e saj. Ne qytet ndihen shperthime dhe dhe shihen makine ne flake.
Shumë prej protestuesve që morrën me forcë ndërtesën e gjykatës javën e kaluar ishin ish-punonjës që humbën vendet e punës në vitin 1999 në fund të luftës në Kosovë, kur ajo e vendos nën administratën e Kombeve të Bashkuara.
Serbët kanë zhvilluar protesta jashtë ndërtesës për disa javë, duke penguar punonjësit shqiptarë të gjykatës të kapërcejnë urën mbi lumin Ibër.

Vdes nga plagët e marra në Mitrovicë një polic ukrainas
Një polic ndërkombëtar nga Ukraina ka vdekur mbrëmë pas plagëve të marra në protestat e dhunshme në veri të Mitrovicës. Kjo është konfimuar nga Ministria e Punëve të Brendshme e Ukrainës si dhe nga zëdhënësi i SHPK-së, Veton Elshani.
Sipas informatave të fundit, në protestat e djeshme në veri të Mitrovicës janë lënduar 20 paqeruajtës të Ukrainës dhe 22 paqeruajtës polakë. Paqeruajtësit e lënduar i janë nënshtuar tretmanit mjekësor. Zyrtarët e KFOR-it, ndërkaq, kanë njoftuar se nga 22 paqeruajtës të lënduar, 12 janë dërguar në Francë për trajtim të mëtutjeshëm mjekësor. Ndryshe, situata në Mitrovicë sot është e qetë, por e tensionuar.

PRIŠTINA — UNMIK and KFOR officials in Priština say a “red line has been crossed” between them and the Kosovo Serbs.

This is the message sent a day after the deadly violence in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, where clashes broke out after UN and NATO policemen and soldiers raided a local court to arrest protesting Serb judicial workers.
One Ukrainian officer has died, while 100 others, including over 70 Serbs, have been injured, two of them critically.
The Priština news conference also heard KFOR commander Xavier Bout de Marnhac and deputy UNMIK chief Larry Rossin say that the force used by their troops while dealing with the unrest was not excessive.
Minister for Kosovo Slobodan Samardžić yesterday made the allegation, and announced Belgrade will seek “full international investigation”; today, international representatives in Kosovo responded with counter-accusations.
“[UNMIK chief] Joachim Ruecker has spoken to several officials on various government levels in Belgrade Friday, and asked that they use their undisputable authority, in order to have those that have occupied the court building withdraw. Some of them have been identified as members of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior [MUP],” Rossin was quoted as saying.
All 53 of the Serb protesters arrested Monday were released in the evening of the same day.
Marnhac for his part told reporters that attacks on UNMIK and KFOR “will not be tolerated”.
“Yesterday morning a red line was crossed. With a clear intention to kill people, Molotov cocktails, bombs were thrown, and there was direct shooting at UNMIK and KFOR. We will not tolerate that,” the French general warned.
The Serbian police (MUP) reacted by saying that they have “no information about any of their members being arrested during the clashes in northern Kosovska Mitrovica”.
Also in Priština, as he was visiting injured UNMIK policemen, Kosovo’s president, Fatmir Sejdiu, said that Belgrade is to blame for the violence.
“All those who incited to violence, whether they call themselves spiritual leaders, but also other leaders who wish to sustain the chaos in Kosovo, are responsible,” he was quoted by Beta news agency.
As for official Belgrade, Sejdiu sees its responsibility in now “keeping the promises it made during the negotiations”, but also “in Security Council sessions”.
